“We improvise and handcraft as a way to resist the rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence and genetic engineering—developments that are rooted in and amplify norms of right and wrong, beautiful and ugly. Linus Ersson presents a group exhibition of craftspeople who explore abstraction through improvisation and material experimentation, embracing unpredictability in their creative processes. A vibrant, rebellious burst of craft against a society increasingly polarized, aestheticized, and constrained by norms.”
